We spent a wonderful weekend away wedding with Kobus and Margi in the Free State.
Margi had a fabulous dress on with amazing amount of detail. Of course the weather played with and we had an amazing sunset. These few images were created on the waterfront as the sun was setting. The background is the reflection of the pink sky on the water.
Margi & Kobus enjoy the cruise in Europe if you get to see these while on honeymoon!

Last weekend i invited my associate photographer & friend, Jaco from J& D Photography to do our first “Free Shoot”. The idea was inspired by the David Beckstead workshop.
What this means is that our clients will get redressed in their wedding attire and then we spend 3-5 hours with them creating new compositions and coming up with different ways of photographing them. On this very first shoot we used wireless flash, sunlight, architecture and even played around with the veil, all in good fun.
The session is free and the bride and groom benefit as much as we do as they receive the images as part of the free session.

Words cannot explain what its like to rub shoulders with one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the world, never mind the many talented and gifted photographers here in South Africa.
