On a station to nowhere.

A wrong turn on the way to the wedding lead to an abandoned train station. The temptation and risk was just too exciting too ignore. No matter how dirty and rusty the coaches were I was keen on getting Steven and Ilana into one of them.

So after the late afternoon reception surprise surprise we grabbed the two them and rushed out to the station. Ilana I know it was tough and dirty and not easy to walk across the railway track with your wedding shoes (all brides should carry flat shoes with them – I requirement I am going to put in my contract) but in the end after much struggle and pain we had an amazing time.
I even had Ilanas toes imprinted on the back of my shirt as I went on my four paws acting as a make shift step so that she could get into the coach. We ended off the shoot on the platform long after the sun had set.

It was marvellous working with the two of you and I can’t wait to show you the rest of the images.

Lourianne & Riaan….a gentleman at heart!

Posted in Lourianne & Riaan on October 4, 2008 by michaeltree

Riaan you must be one of the politest gentleman I have ever met. I can see why you have the right girl by your side. Lourianne you were more than a star, under the circumstances with one of the service providers arriving two hours late you did a fine job working with me and the
video- photographer Frans du Plessis (sadly to say he is on his way to Aussie)

Who says a wedding has to be perfect, yours was simply brilliant all because the two of you made the best of everything with a positive smile throughout the day. I wish I could do it all over again, that’s how much fun it was shooting your wedding.
